Cleaning technology

The concept CIP-cleaning (Cleaning in place) comes from english and means, pipe lines, tanks, pumps, fillers, de-berrying machines and conveyor belts can be cleaned via several cleaning procedures without disassembly and this process complies with food law hygiene regulations.

The following cleaning procedures are automatically implemented:

1. Rinsing with cold / hot water
2. Rinsing with hot lye
3. Rinsing with acid

Other cleaning and/or rinsing procedures can be affiliated with disinfectants and steam prodedures, which make production in an aseptic area possible.

In order to obtain a smooth cleaning effect, the following requirements have to be fulfilled:

1. Cleaning medium's flow rate must be
   at least 3 m/sec.
2. CIP-Cleaning compatible equipment, eg. tanks, pumps, fillers
3. Automatically controlled cleaning output, which can be documented

We have designed economical application modules, which can be used, especially, in wine cellars, sparkling white wine cellars and fruit juice handling.

All valves are controlled by the software. The acid and lye are automatically regulated with precise dosing pumps. Conductability and pH-value are continually measured. Centrifugal pumps are measured according to equipment size.
 

KIESEL CIP-cleaning modules are comprised of:

Control system > hardware / software / stainless steel control box

Valves for > flow / runback / water, lye, acid, pH-measurement, conductometry, centrifugal pumps, dosing pumps with connection thread

The equiment is delivered "ready for use". The containers for the cleaning agent and water are adapted to particular demands. Other accessories, like plate heat exchangers for hot water production or cleaning water recooling can be also be delivered.

Used for cleaning hoses from 19 mm to 50 mm bore. Cleaning with water line pressure via sponge rubber ball. (Art.-No. different depending on screw thread)

Sponge rubber balls are 16 mm to 320 mm in diameter and can be delivered in various degrees of fineness.

Low pressure with revolving nozzle. Affixment via 40mm-55mm bunghole. Thorough cleaning for small containers and tanks with up to 10,000 ltr. capacity in the transfer pumping process with wine pumps (eg. eccentric screw pumps or impeller pumps).

This equipment works with low pressure of up to max. 6 bar. Every eccentric screw pump, centrifugal pump or impeller pump of up to 10,000 ltr./h output can be used.

Spray balls are built in tanks (Art.-No. see pricelist)

With a pump pressure of up to 6 bar, these spray balls can be delivered with an external diameter of
       Ø 49 mm
       Ø 64 mm
       Ø 90 mm

The holes are laid out in such a way that a spraying angle of 180° or 360° can be obtained. These balls are excellently suited for the implementation of an automatically controlled CIP-cleaning.
