Secure functional guarantee – transfer responsibility – optimize operation

We offer you comprehensive maintenance and inspection services – including a 12-month functional guarantee on correctly adjusted systems – so that your pigging systems can be operated safely, in compliance with regulations and with optimum performance in the long term.

 

Reasons for maintenance work:

  • System safety & operational safety: Inspection, fine-tuning and adjustment work ensure the full functionality of your system – including KIESEL inspection stickers and a 12-month guarantee.
  • Instruction of new employees: Only trained personnel may operate pigging systems. New or previously untrained personnel are instructed directly on the system during deployment.
  • Legal safety: The Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (§12) obliges employers to provide regular instruction – we take care of this for you. Participation is documented and confirmed by the participants – this also relieves you as the operator of liability in the event of damage.
  • Specific customer requirements: On request, we can carry out maintenance training on individual stations or fittings – e.g. for cleaning or for replacing spare parts on components removed by the customer in advance. Spare parts must be coordinated and available in advance.

    Procedure of the maintenance job

    1. Initial meeting: Any anomalies reported are recorded together on site and checked on the running system. This is then taken out of operation. The system settings are made by our technicians, if necessary in collaboration with the responsible programmer (on site or online).
    2. System fine-tuning & functional check: The pigging system is set up in detail, any necessary spare parts are identified, documented and, if necessary, supplied later by means of a quotation.
    3. Staff training: During or after the adjustment, the operating personnel are trained on the pigging system – with the product in place but out of operation.
    4. Safety training: Implementation of the legally required training for all persons entrusted with operation or maintenance. The names are documented, participation is confirmed by signature.
    5. Optional training of dedicated components: If commissioned, we carry out training on stations or fittings removed by the customer in your workshop. Preliminary coordination is mandatory (incl. availability of spare parts).

    Time frame:

     

    • For the first system: approx. 2 days on site (plus optional services).
    • Depending on scope and condition: approx. 2-4 additional systems per additional day of use.
    • After completion, the KIESEL inspection sticker with monthly marking is applied to the transmitter and receiver station – as visible proof of the functional guarantee and legal protection.

    Maintenance contract or individual use?

    Without a maintenance contract:

  • No guaranteed response time
  • Full daily rates
  • Short-term assignments are considered fault assignments (billed according to KIESEL service conditions)
